Laundry Love

Laundry Love provides laundry vouchers for people to do a free load of laundry—wash and dry—at a local laundromat. Help us make clean clothes and bedding more accessible to people in our community!

Laundry Love is a nation-wide movement whose mission is to “wash the clothes and bedding of low/no-income families and individuals across the country. They brighten the lives of thousands of people through love, dignity, and detergent by partnering with diverse groups and laundromats.” At Trinity, we have partnered with two laundromats—Bubble & Squeak at 165 Willow Street in East Rock and Howe Street Laundromat at 96 Howe Street in Downtown New Haven—in order to make clean laundry accessible to the people in our community.

How to get Laundry Vouchers

Our vouchers are distributed after Chapel on the Green on Sunday afternoons. Please call Lisa Levy, Outreach Coordinator, at 203-624-3101, extension 106, or email her at cotg@trinitynewhaven.org with questions.

This ministry would not be possible without donations of individuals, groups, and grants. Please consider making a donation! Approximately $6 will cover one load of laundry, wash and dry, including detergent provided by the laundromat.
