We’re making 200 sandwiches for the hungry at Trinity’s Chapel on the Green Service. All families are welcome to join us in the Undercroft at 9:30 AM and are also invited to serve the sandwiches later in the day at the 2:00 PM Service.

A craft, game, and caroling are featured prior to our shorter Family Worship Service which includes the classic story of the birth of Jesus. Families are invited to arrive any time after 10 AM.

We’ll look at a piece of fine art and talk, pray, and imagine through its message, colors, and subject. This month, “The Nativity” by George Adamson.

The Story of Christmas is presented by our children, grandchildren, teens, and parishioners. Cast members gather at 9:30 AM in the Undercroft. All others join us during the 10:30 AM Service.

FREE! Camp Christmas offers lunch and an afternoon of Christmas fun for children up to age 10 including cookie decorating, games, crafts, movies, and gift-making. Older kids and parishioners are welcome to volunteer as activity leaders! Parents enjoy an afternoon of kid-free shopping, gift wrapping, holiday chores, or maybe a nap! Learn what it means to be an Acolyte and to serve God and Trinity parishioners in this way. No commitment required as you and your child explore this ministry. Gently-used or new shoes are being collected by our Spirit Quest Youth Group for the unhoused and our friends at Chapel on the Green. Boots, sneakers, and all comfortable styles will be accepted before and after all Services. Thank you for your donations!

Remember with love the ancestors in your family as we celebrate All Saints and All Souls Days with this gentle, child-friendly prayer service. Based on Disney’s “Coco,” we ask that you bring photos or drawings of those for whom we will pray.

The New Haven Chorale is thrilled to bring back its FREE Halloween Concert for Children in its 75th Anniversary Season! The choristers will be wearing their Halloween costumes and children of all ages are encouraged to come in costume as well. This concert will include rounds to be sung with the choir, madrigals, several engaging classical pieces including Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus, a spiritual arrangement, and a gospel piece performed by the youthful gospel choir ‘New Praise’ with Dunn Pearson at the piano. There will also be an opportunity for the children to come up and conduct the Chorale! This will be a fun and educational concert tailored for you, your children, and grandchildren. You won’t want to miss this event!

In observance of St. Francis’ Feast Day, we will be tabling at the Gathering of the Paws Event, in support of their initiative to build a much-needed animal shelter in Hamden. Come hang out at our table and enjoy the event—including live entertainment, local vendors, food trucks, and adoptable pets! We will offer blessings at our table from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and we hope you’ll join us at 12:30 p.m. for a brief prayer service. Can you commit to volunteering for an hour or more at our table?
